May 2014- the WCYC Rules were consolidated into one document by Board members Mike Harwell and John Russell. The rules are controlled by the Board and supplement the By-laws. The four sets of rules the Club previously operated under were:
- General Rules
- Rules for the Use of Club Facilities
- Club Rules
- Regulations for Clubroom Use
May 2016- the rules were amended by Mike Harwell and Curt Grimm to include details of membership payment plans.
November 2018-Club room use rules changed to align with current practices.
February 2019-Change to 2.11.1 regarding when payment is due from Replacement member, revision to 3.2 regarding boat access points and renting additional unassigned spaces, revision to 3.10.2 dock space waiting list, addition of new rule 4.6 regarding social events and number of members who can attend for free or at member rate.
June 2019- Change to 5.1.2 regarding use of the member "Long Dock" during the high season June-Sept. Long dock will have 30-minute loading zone with no overnight docking and a 2-hour loading zone with limited overnight parking.
February 2020-Elimination of rule 3.9 regarding transfer of dock space in island member real estate transaction.
September 2020 - Rule 4.9 Contractors and 5.9.1 subcontractors doing business with Members and 5.9.2 subcontractors doing business with the BOG.
November 2020 - Rule 3.7.4 edited to provide for sabbaticals for Mooring and Valet customers (it was previously a benefit only extended to dockholders).
